THIS is the time that JA and his beloved communications office needs to be in full effect, to make sure that every single pilot at NK knows where Ben and Bendo stand and how much they think we are worth. THIS is when JA makes a big deal out of this last slap. I want stickers, lanyards, magazines, emails, call , videos, Twitts, Facebook, tv, whatever it takes,....

even calling pilots to let them know about this turd (just like the meltdown whe he was helping the sinking dinghy ) ....

so there is no misinterpretation of their offer to us.

The text I got was section 6 will start next year when this all resumes.

It's worse thinking we were close rather than thinking we were no where near it in the first place. Like the rug was pulled out. As I said, I'm not sure who to blame for that. Maybe the company, maybe JA? I think this goes down as fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. The first was no quid for the meltdown. The second is this royal slap in the face. There better not be a third and the union needs to inform all new hire candidates of what is going on (remember Republic FOs make more than ours even with the new rates) and provide direction for the pilot group.

Retro Pay from August 2015. No signing bonuses, Retro Pay period. 7K last time? I bet retro pay for the last time around would have been $100,000 or more.

The first for me was the 2010 TA. I caught a bunch of heat for not being optimistic just because Leonard said so. I said before that a lot of us have seen this movie before and it doesn't end well. I wish it really was "different this time," but it very rarely is.

Well then let's see the NC's proposal. Why not show it to the pilots so we can judge it's adequacy for ourselves? Let us see how it actually compares to the company's (which I think we all agree is a non-starter). But I have to question whether our union's own proposal was materially better than the company's since we all got the NC's update just a few months ago gushing about how close we were to a TA and about how plans were being made for pilot phone conferences and pre-roadshows. Did the company backpedal? If so, then show us; show us an offer the company made in the past that inspired such bubbly negotiating updates.

We can't all come on here and bash the company's offer unless we know what our union is demanding. We need to know just where our NC stands and what it means by the rather ambiguous phrase, "pathway to parity." Until our union provides this information, we have no way of knowing whether we're on the right track.

I have no problem bashing it, it's pathetic and a slap in the face. The union is (obviously) demanding something better than this crap.

How can you assume that when the union has also been telling us how close we are to a TA? How can we be close to a TA unless our union's demand is close to the company' offer?

My bet is from initial talks with the company (who lied, surprise!) that they told the nc they were close in numbers and that something was attainable. Kudos to the nc for telling the company to stuff it with this pos.
