As far as the NC posting their numbers, that would be very unwise.. The NMB would now know what the NC's bottom line is... Bad idea.

Well the company already knows so I'm sure the nmb would easily get that info.

No, they wouldn't. This is pre section 6 negotiations.. All of this is basically off the record.

I agree but let's be careful to make it us vs them with pilots in our own group. Unity is key. I have no problem with the top end if it was at year 12 not 15 and dos+4 was at dos. Let's shoot for great rates and terms for all longevities. I think that's what you meant but just wanted to clarify. And for ducks sake why are they even thinking 15 year scale. It's gotta be 12, period.

Why is it so hard for people to understand we are in section 6 and have been since the amendable date? There is nothing "off the record". You guys need to know how this works.

No. Negotiations have been going on now for what, 9-10 months? We're well past "openers." That's what's disturbing. And if we were really close to a TA (meaning the company' offer was close to our demand), then I'm afraid we're all in for a huge disappointment.

No expert- but I think section 6 basically began August 1.... The letter was filed with the NMB in April- We are in "formal negotiations..."

"Section6" is basically the point at which EITHER side desires to amend the contract that's in place.... Ours became "amendable" on 8/1.... There is a requirement for 30 days written notice to start section 6. Our letter was filed in April.

This.

I don't see why the union can't put their proposal out in the open since they were very transparent about what the company offered.
