I'm even ok with being bought out at this point.
Excellent, except the flight attendants can't strike, only do their chaos nonsense. I'm sure they would be sold the idea that they would still get a check under chaos although they may lose a few hours... until the company locks them out. Now how do they pay the cat food bill?

They've talked about chaos for 4 years. Done nothing

I am willing to bet the scale isn't that far off what the negotiators proposed with the rationale that we will spend the most of our careers at the twelve year plus rates. Sorry for the broken record. Time for a new NC

Ha ha ha, I LOVE it!!

You guys have completely missed the point...... We never wanted an agreement!
You guys think you'll get "industry leading"? You won't see "industry standard". Hell, you have guys that can't even wear the uniform! We even made it simple for you! BTW, don't forget to thank Andy in LAS for bringing Frontier into your same Union - it's going to make the merger easier!

BTW Jimmy, I picked up that tab last night - no worries buddy!

As someone who has unfortunately been on ltd at this company, you have to pay taxes on it and for the first 3? Months they take the taxes out automatically.

They need to be released first. Are they even trying?

Exactly my point - help the FAs get out of their own way. My guess is that they are years closer to getting released than us. Ben's plan to drag out the pilot negotiations for the next several years could be short circuited and besides, the FA story would be ripe for media and even help us make our case. Pile on the open pilot negotiations, and the pressure against mangagment would be compounded.

Yeah that mostly likely true, but that might only be on the part that the company pays for... Sorry to hear you out I wish you well and the return back to the cockpit soon!

Found this for you:

How to Avoid Taxes on Life and Disability Insurance - MarketWatch

Now for the good news: LTD benefits are generally income-tax-free when you, rather than your employer, pay the premiums. On the other hand, if your employer pays the premiums as a tax-free fringe, any LTD benefits will be fully taxable to you. The same is true if you set aside part of your salary to pay the premiums with before-tax dollars under your employer's cafeteria benefit plan. Here are two strategies to deal with this tax dilemma.

* If LTD benefits would be taxable because your employer is paying the premiums, the preferred solution is to arrange for the premiums to be paid with after-tax dollars by withholding from your salary checks. That way, the premiums are treated as part of your taxable salary, which will cause a slight increase in your income tax bill. However any LTD benefits will be tax-free, which is the bigger consideration here.

I'm not defending Bendo but the AFA leadership did approve two TAs. I think the AFA leadership is to blame as well.

At least our MEC didn't approve this utterly offensive POS
