Precisely the case. So assuming no new CA vacancies, and one DTW CA has ACY as his choice, and an ACY CA has DTW as his choice, would this 1-for-1 swap be awarded for base bids?

Speaking of LEC reps, anyone know if Connor and Leonard are still fogging a mirror?

When the company has to defend how we are worth less than our peers, and we can bring all that we do in front of NMB or an arbitrator, this tracking will help. It will be easy to draw a one to one relationship between Spirit's daily furops (f'd up ops) after we stop performing at what we thought we were worth, and do start performing at what they offer. Without evidence, their word is as good as ours. I know we will all be very happy to step back and watch them beg for our help, on deaf ears, when they live the chaos that their kindergarten managing skills brings them. To be effective, we need to stop collectively.

I think I get what you are saying. No absolutely not. You cannot just swap with another CA. There has to be a vacancy in the base you want. If you can hold it you get it. If you leave it creates a secondary vacancy that is filled in seniority order. No 1-1. Vacancy filled then secondary vacancies, all in seniority order.

Anyway, we got played. Fly the contract and the FOM.
Disagree about us getting played. I can't think of anyone who thought JB rates would suffice, especially with our payloads and performance. I do think it's going to be a long wrestle.

Agreed.

looking at the pay rates, not even taking into account the transition conflict crap, this proposal from management is a huge kick in the gonads. The majority of pilots in this company, both captains and FOs will be paid below virgin and definitley below JB's current rates for the length of the contract. Below. Current. Rates. Let me say it again, the majority of pilots at spirit will be paid below the current rates of JetBlue for the length of this contract. At fifth year pay for dos fos are below JB and Virgin and only just beat JB 2016 rates in 2020! 2020! What will JB be paying by then? Virgin? Heck even Allegiant, Frontier, and Sun Country will be paying more than that. Even Republic and the other regionals will probably be paying close if not more than what spirit will be paying.

Look guys...I know we're all bent out of shape with the company proposed pay rates, but you have to realize it's their job to low ball us, just like it's our job to come back with equally ridiculous numbers the other way. To me it's a good thing that the union released these numbers because I'm sure they feel it's ridiculous as well. It may take longer than hoped for, but I'm still confident we'll get a contract we deserve.

To give an example, suppose there are no published CA vacancies in DTW and ACY. And then a vacancy is available for 5 DFW CAs. Suppose all 5 are DFW FOs that end up getting that DFW CAs. Now, within this vacancy award, if 1 DTW CA has ACY as #1 choice and 1 ACY CA has DTW as #1 choice, then would this allow a 1-for-1 mutual swap? Does that make sense? I hope I'm clear in what I'm asking
I get what you are saying. But here's the problem. Let's say you are the # 1 ACY CA (bidding #1) and, a Mid level ACY CA wants to go to DTW as his #1 choice. What if that DTW CA that comes over is senior to you and bump you to the #2 spot? You would need a vacancy because if you do swaps, it would mess with the seniority in base.
