Spirit of NKS, Part II

There is a summary of the topics that were revised in the beginning, but you have to go look at the individual pages for the actual changes.
As I read it, it's now the gate agents discretion to list someone who is not pre-listed, or went to the ticket counter. If memory serves it used to say that they should accommodate anyone up to 15 minutes before departure. Also it appears they removed off-line flight attendants from occupying the actual FA jumpseat (Not listed in the priority codes).
I just glanced at it last night so maybe I missed something...

So airtransat's contract was amendable in April 2015 and the just held a strike vote. In Canada I think a strike vote is purely symbolic just like in the USA. It lets the company and the pilot group know that pilots are united and ready to walk out when legally able to.
When is ours? I'm confident we would have a strong message to send with the exception of Feng who we all know will vote against a strike.

The company will judge our willingness to walk out by our day to day actions, not by whether or not we take a strike vote.
We need: viable and active SPC and family awareness committees and leaders that lead vs leaders that follow. The only thing our leaders have lead us to lately is concessions.

Before a strike vote will show the company anything. Anything at all, the union will need to actually build some unity. Preaching unity while doing things like denying the members of a particular domicile a local meeting won't get to where we need to be regarding a strike.

Imagine if he put as much effort into a new contract as he did with making the Quid Dissapear and traveling to and from political gatherings

Should we be surprised? JS does whatever he wants, waves his middle finger at us and the CBA, all the while sending emails about the great airline we are building together. And all our MEC chairman wants to do is sing Kumbaya and be best buddies with management. March 16th can't come fast enough!

Even if he goes which he should IMO he will still be a voting member of the MEC which is a more important role than chairman.
