Completely agree with you. We work with a bunch of wissifued pilots that are probably the same bunch that answer phones to help out during irops. Unbelievable. So dissapointed and embarrassed of some in this pilot group.

I don't think I could get hired there either. I started and stopped three different degree programs as I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do. I enlisted in the Army and excelled. I took that renewed determination and completed flight training and my degree with a mix of classroom and online classes. My lot, but I don't think they'd like a guy that spent 8 years in college and didn't get a PhD.
I know of one guy who doesn't have a degree at all and works at DAL. He was a endeavor guy tho

The difference is they use all that brain power to file flight plans and man the phones in Scheduling.
Even ****ty junior Allegiant CA pay is better than here.
