We are the absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to airlines.
Everything about this place.
From filing our own flight plans, to incorrect pay, MEC Chairmen answering phones in scheduling, F/O pay during uograde, no profit sharing. ****ty crew rooms, etc. the list is long.
This place is a stepping stone at best. Let's rename this thread "Spirit of crap"
(the Chief pilots are the only exception, that is one area this place amazingly got right)

You've got to be kidding me. Apparantly you haven't listened to one word our own N/C has said. They ignorantly stated multiple times how it's tooooooo expensive to fix the slope and wouldn't be fair to to give the senior guys "smaller" dollar an hour raises.
They are completely in over there heads. The same goes with our chicken**** MEC Chairmen.
Don't you find it funny how we were "so close" to a deal and only a few million apart and now we are being told it will be a very long time before we have a deal!?
A few million apart? Have you seen the company's proposal? I'm not sure what our N/C finds acceptable but a few million on top of that POS Proposal won't cut it.
Lastly, they talked about legacy airlines and their "Ghost rates" for 2,3,4 year CAs. Guess what?, they exist. What excuse now are they going to use to imply our pathetic Junior CA rates are acceptable.

I know, DAL gets 21% of their earnings for PS, SWA GETS 15.6, UAL???? AA? Not too mention they have 16% DC.

A fng ACARS message from JS telling us to file our own *******ed Flight plans........Lovely

Dude, you took the job here. Nobody held a gun to your head. You knew the pay rates, you knew when the contract was amendable, you knew the upgrade times, and you knew about the business model and everything that goes with it. So what's the problem in that 'self-defecating' head of yours? Let me guess....late 20's, not married, no kids?
Yeah, there's a lot that needs fixing, that's pretty obvious. But what exactly has changed around here in the past couple of years to make this place more of a ****hole? If anything, there's a lot that's gotten better.
Yes our pay rates suck, but holy **** do we have a lot of type-A crybabies on here. It's been a whopping 6.5 months since our amendable date and you're acting like it's been 10 years. It's called contract negotiations. It takes years. Ask SWA pilots how their contract talks are coming along.
