Spirit of NKS, Part II

Subtle as a hammer to the back of the head. Fully expect SM's future messages to the pilot group to be audio only. While he said the right things, it was a little painful to watch.

I liked what he had to say, hope the aggressive tone continues, and appreciate updates that dont mention ALPA PAC and ALPA pin.
Its easy to attack someone with the comfort of anonymity, while typing away on a laptop computer.

Wow, guy cant win. People hate on the guy for not introducing himself to the pilot group when elected MEC chair, and now that he has put a video out, its "painful to watch."

I thought the video was well done and didn't appear nervous to me.....
He has three kids, and done 20years of ALPA work, I doubt he was nervous

Stuart did just fine. Proper demeanor, appropriate message. Keep in mind he is a pilot first, ALPA professional secondly. He doesnt need to have national tv skills but he looked fine. Lets give him a chance.

Maybe you guys should start talking about the message instead of the actual video. Why do I keep flying with pilots who do not know the current contract basics? Why do I keep seeing people on the volunteer to fly for normal pay list? Why do we now fly it and grieve it when we used to have cojones and walk away? Why do I keep hearing people calling for paperwork? These are all valid questions and for you to demean someone who has stepped up to stop the madness and regression that came from the mesa clown show, shame on you.

He seemed fine me. Honestly his position on the NC is more important. The MEC chair doest have a vote. Their job is to unify the group around a common goal. So far he's doing that. Better than the zero communication from CA and useless inaction from Mesa JA.
Most importantly I hope SM knows the importance of Scope since he came from DHL.
