So for now, Spirit is easily filling crewmember slots.

Anybody else notice the "recent" trend of double deadheads, and OAL deadheading for out of base guys. I've seen 3 day trips built where they have day one double deadhead, day 2 flying one or two legs and double deadheading back to base on day 3. You really can't get more inefficient than that.

False rumor. 16 were hired for the Jan 4 class. All passed. Mostly RJ guys, some corporate / 135, 1 with no jet. People posting on my page on the later classes are all passing types. Mgt lowered class size to 9 (+1 ground instructor) as aircraft are delayed. During my last week in training, I heard that they are only hiring about 1/2 of that last interview group (instead of 3/4). FAs seem to all be passing too. The ones that graduated in my timeframe was a huge class (I think I saw someone post that only 1/2 FAs were making it through).

Looks like Frontier is prepping for an IPO shortly. Maybe that merger is coming sooner than we think.

I don't remember specifics. I think we are still waiting on that first NEO that was supposed to be delivered last year.
A few weeks ago, the quarterly report / call / information said a new fleet plan was supposed to come out in a few weeks (to focus on smaller cities??)

I can. The neo's are a disaster. That's really the only delay. We're supposed to get one this month but that's looking less and less likely. They are limited to less then 6,000 feet in airport elevation so no BOG and are limited to 35 degrees Celsius. So no LAS, PHX and maybe DFW in summer. The real issue are the engines. Last I saw they temp out around 1,100 degrees and are exceeding that. Basically if the plane comes we'll park it. Coisidence we are keeping some 319s longer? Nope.
As for the rest, two 321s and one 320 CEO will be here this quarter. I have the tail list around if you want to know specifics. 320s will go to 646. 321s will go to 672 and the 320 NEOs will start at 901. Right now we're slated for 901-905. Oh and were skipping tail 666.

I am also curious to hear what this revised fleet plan we heard about in the report is all about.
A 3ish year upgrade at this place is acceptable but no more than that.
