So every CA will be short $100 or more because of this error, requiring an overnight check to be sent. Will the union require all errors in excess of $100 to have a check overnighted to the 700 CAs that were shorted?? Or will the Union give relief on this and allow it to be added into the next check?

I fear it will be the latter.

Ummm... No.

1. Get in and out of mediation asap
2. Hold out for what a good deal is at that time. This is where we let the MEC/NC hose us last time. They told us the strike was over, go back to work. Three weeks later we got to see the TA. Then the road show sales job started with the threat that a) the NC would quit if the TA failed; and b) we would be in no-man's land if it failed because our brain-trust didn't write a contingency for how a failed TA would be handled into the six page back to work agreement. A lot of pilots were scared into a yes vote because they thought a failed TA meant the end of days. Whether or not you blame incompetence on the NC for omitting it, or if it was omitted on purpose to apply leverage to us is up to you. It is interesting though that 2/3 of the same guys that threatened to quit and leave us hanging are still on the NC. This is why I wanted them gone last year before all the off-record stuff started. BTW, that first year pay actually went down from the 2003 CBA.

Maybe YOU will understand why I get p1ssed when you blame a degenerate like me for loading the NC with people you feel are only acting in MY best interest. If you are interested in a RLA primer click here. Section V - Major Disputes is the applicable section.

Have no fear. It's almost a gaurentee.

Weak Ackemran will go easy on "the new guy". This hardship on the company of sending out all these checks may cause the airline to be "In dire straights". What an embarrassment Ackerman turned out to be

Well why In Gods name are they still on the N/C. I don't understand the Incompetence at this airline. From the Union, to our pay being wrong, to our IT Dept, nothing is ever done right here. It's so frustrating

Over the next few years you'll hear the NC talking about finessing the mediator (once we get THAT far) to show good faith bargaining. I wouldn't get too jazzed up until the proffer of arbitration gets shot down, then you'll be a couple months away. The goal right now should be to get into mediation as quickly as possible, with the intent of getting out of mediation as quickly as possible. Anything prior to release is a company delay tactic - they will make more money every day they can keep us on this CBA. Once released and in the 30 day cooling off period, THEN the real negotiations begin. After a couple short extensions of the deadline you will see a TA and badda bing... you get C2020.
If Allegiant and Sun Country couldn't get released, why do you think we can? Honest question. We would have a much larger effect on the national transportation system.

I also got shorted holiday pay for New Years Day. So I'm out about $150-200. Awesome!

Why automate payroll when you can save money with the incompetence of doing it manually...for thousands of employees. Then pay thousands of overnight fees because you've screwed the pooch once again. Are they really saving money this way?!? I'm guessing no, when factored in over time.

Maybe we could chalk this up to growing pains...or more likely, business as usual. What a joke.

I was shorted about $5,000. Don't know what they're doing in payroll but shorted 30 hours or so.

I don't know who you are other then a junior LAS Captain. You have been here barely 3 years, do everyone a favor and resign and go be miserable somewhere else.

I don't know what you did back in 2010, but I will tell you I walked the picket line while being subjected to many head games by Frontier's new management team. And when it came time to vote we voted yes and no for our own personal reasons. AT THAT TIME it was industry leading, and also at that time everyone else was in bankrupt contracts. Was it the best? No but it is what it is.

YOU HAVE NO ******ING ROOM TO TALK, Unless you were out there with us walking the "line". You need to shut the hell up!!!

I have seen many many posts by you and I can tell is that you are an entitled worthless jaw yapping piece of ******, who thinks everything comes with very little work and effort!!

Listening to someone like you has only proven that you are one of the "DEGENERATES" and cause of your attitude, You will NEVER GO ANYWHERE else.

So be a little positive and be part of the solution or disappear!!!!

I agree with all that except the industry leading part. We were ahead of jetBlew for about 3 months before they leap-frogged us. We never led our peers much less the industry.
