Can someone explain this to me.
How did we go from the Union & Company saying (documented in podcasts etc) that we were/are very close to a deal to the prospect of this taking years?
If the company and the Union agree that everything they have worked on previously is a "Go" and transition and pay rates are the "large gaps" that remain, how many years can you just stare at each other during negotiations passing numbers back & forth.

Where did you get this from?

My guess, it's the same thing that happened with the russo deal. They gave to the company in many areas, based on a big get when it came to section 3. Once they got to pay they found they were a lot farther apart than they thought. Skybolt would have better data than me.

I think Ted Christie our CFO and our new CEO made it clear in the conference call, we will not see anything in 2016. I have been begging the MEC and others to listen to those of us that understand the group running the show, yet it falls on deaf ears and the pilots of Spirit re-elect MEC and LEC officers that just enjoy trip drops and will not stand up and fight! This has gotten so old. When will we learn?!

Would they really comment on it either way?

Uhhhh, I'll take a WAG....
NOTHING...
Didn't you guys constantly bust his balls just about every time he put out a recording? What would you like to hear?
We are not at the table and haven't been for 2 months. A survey is out, the union meets with the company on the 22nd, the company is sending it's negotiators.

Well he did say he was going to REDUCE utilization and start cleaning the planes ($) all while not raising CASM. Where's all that cash going to come from do you think? Maybe he is full of cr^p. Then again I was distracted by all the um's and uh's. Conference call felt a lot like recurrent.
Lipstick on a pig?? Getting her ready for the dance??
