16 in one month, that's a pretty big increase, especially since we haven't announced or accepted a heck of a lot of new planes. I think we're finally starting to see attrition hitting this company.

Sweet, swapping 147K/yr CA with an 127K/y CA and then replacing that $78K/ur FO with an 38K/yr FO. We're finally hitting them hard!!! Feel the pain!!!

Hopefully, those that think they want to come here will see the difference between spirit at $38 an hour and everyone else at near twice that. I've said it before, the only leverage we have over the company is by voting with our feet. The only thing they care about is the bottom line, the profits. Everything else they could care less. And the only way the profits are going to be affected is by cancelling flights because there aren't enough pilots to fly them. We are NOT going to be released to strike, we can forget about that.

Thing is Spirit will have no problem recruiting as long as there are < $50/hr RJ FOs or 1500 hr CFIs.

Not if there are legacies, SWA, jetblue, Alaska, frontier and Allegiant are all trying to hire those same guys.

It'll be a long, long, long....time before mainline legacies hire 1500hr CFIs. In any case, we'll just hire the ones with misdemeanors.
