Haha...best rationalizing I have ever seen...awesome.

"CA, your beacon and strobes are not on...did you want them on?"

"Well...no..um..I leave them off to help demonstrate how dark the night is..."

In other news...

Canton/Akron Ohio...looks like the smaller market locations are starting to come out.

ALPA won't be able to help you, unless you can clearly show that your "technique" was in the best interest of safety.

It's best to just fly it by the book and remember: "Safety First".

Start costing them money unnecessarily, and it is going to draw unwanted attention.
Don't you have more FOM spelling editing to do from your intern cubicle in Miramar? Bugger off!

Odd choice. It's less than an hour drive from Cleveland.

Oh, that was totally unintentional! However, spellcheck must have inadvertently corrected it for me (that's my story and I'm sticking to it)!

As for you Gonyon, I am far from being a "grammar nazi". Even the best screw up. My brother in-law is an English major and I'll catch him messing up. My problem is this guy and his ridiculous spin. I've always tried to be a straight shooter. I don't like it when people try to dupe others. Is no different than Yuri coming on here as 8.

What's in CAK? It's right near Cleveland. Never thought Akron would make the list.

I doubt we opened Akron to account for the NFL HOF travel crowd or to honor Lebron and his hometown.

Have to assume this means less flights to CLE. The distance between Akron and Cleveland is just too close to think both communities can sustain the need for flights

Gotta agree with ya. Although, wouldn't surprise me if Spirit got really cheap rates to fly outta Akron and they'll leave the CLE flights to go elsewhere than Florida.

FYI the Cleveland/Akron/Canton area is over 4 million people....

I would imagine gates are cheap or free.

CAK is smart. AirTran used to dominate the airport back in their day but after the SWA merger it's only ATL and LAS. Everything else was cut, including LGA, BOS, lots of FL cities, etc.
