Spirit of NKS, Part II

Hey everyone. 3 year RJ FO almost 5k TT now. I applied back in mid June. Did the cognitive test and the short personality type test they sent me in the email. Still no word.
I'm looking at attending the Aero Crew job fair out in Vegas next month. Do you think that would secure me an interview? Based on the posted mins being 2k, I feel I should be competitive. Sounds like the mins dropped because you were/are having some struggles obtaining people. That was the impression I was given by a CA I spoke with over there. Anyhow would love to get onboard. Thank you.

I personally think the route network over the next couple of years is going to be very fluid. Changes and tweaks will be made to minimize overlap with the legacies. Some full year routes will be made seasonal, and new routes from cities we have never served before will pop up. How things shake out with bases will be anyone's guess, but I'd be pretty surprised if our bases are the same 3-5 years from now.

Exactly...the way our bases are set up is kind of puzzling. From an objective standpoint, keeping ACY as a base makes little sense, yet they keep adding CA slots. On the other hand, we need a northeast base.

Our average hire is 5,500 total time. Don't know how it's broken down from there. That's directly from a chief who was at the last job fair. It's pure speculation that we are having difficulty finding applicants.
