why? we aren't getting sh-t and we won't be getting sh-t. it is that simple. you have years to go to get a TA, and when you do, expect it to be a pile of sh-t. why is this so hard for everyone to understand. alpa=useless

Two pages ago you wanted to burn the MEC Chair for being on the NC because you didn't know the bylaws. Now it's just transparency? Is that all you wanted in that recall vote a few years ago too? Or was that just another witch hunt?

This is true but let's not forget that there is no training to cover if people don't except it. It's up to you guys to inform people that they don't have to take that slot.

Chicken egg kind of thing

Yea I know the bylaws, he is a member, but only as a tie breaking vote. He is still on it as a full time NC member. That is the difference.

Thanks for the deep thought

How about another survey. Probably laughable at this point, but my ask just went up.

I'm just getting a little tired of hearing guys dividing us in groups. "Those damn senior guys", "Those damn junior guys", "the millennials", "the idiots that are still here or are applying here", even "the hispanic speaking pilots".
Let's have some self respect and don't throw your fellow pilot under the bus!!
Great post. Too bad this APC crowd doesn't get it. Lots of good people at Spirit but I don't see many of them posting on this forum. This forum is mostly for Spirits "special" pilots.

Very true but we need to keep politics out of it. We need to educate and let them decide. Tell them both sides but not be bias. I know that might not sound good but the training dept shouldn't be a tool for that.

Remember, any checking event we do not represent the company or the pilots. We represent the FAA and there's no place for that during those events. That is farther into training but just wanted to say that.

Unfortunately I have to agree with you. We are a bottom feeder and always will be. Thinking we are ever going to get anything close to what Delta, American, United, and SWA is or will be getting is setting yourself up for a serious disappointment.

I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see it working out that well for us in the end.

But I will do my part and wear the lanyard, vote no, vote to strike, etc. And hope for the best.

Just don't spread that attitude. It spreads like a cancer. We will get what we negotiate. As long as we choose to not accept another bottom feeder contract like allegiant just did, we will something great. The ask has to be appropriate, we have to have vocal competent leadership, and we have to stand together demanding a southwest plus type agreement.
