Sorry 3.A should have been the reference, I stand corrected.
26.X is for other than 100-180. The point remains the same, like already stated they can add it if they want.

Reread 3.A. It's for any aircraft between 100-180.
26.X is for less than 100 or more than 180.

They both say essentially the same thing-
Anything goes from 100-180....
And the hourly rate is established

If they find some loophole and decide to outsource our flying we may be the only airline in history where the regional pilots make more than the mainline pilots...

I'm not saying the C series isn't more efficient but that chart is based off 500 NM or just over an hour. Our avererage leg is 2-2.5 hours. Don't know what kind of difference that would make. We could always change to fit what's best for the aircraft.

True, If I remember correctly our average stage length is just under 1000 miles. However management has stated numerous times that they want to shorten the stage length. The C series would help in that case.

The logistics involved in operating 2 fleets might be beyond the means of the company at this point though.

I can see keeping A319s on order for smaller markets, but I'm having a lot of trouble wrapping my brain around turning Spirit from a LCC to an oversized regional. Competing with every single existing regional out there on price alone just doesn't seem to be a plan for success. What, we're gonna run skywest (or whatever regional you want to compare with) out of business because we have the A320 CASM thing wired? I just don't get it. Entering a market already saturated with struggling companies is a good way to go broke unless you're willing to take big losses while running everyone else out of money *cough*walmart*cough*. I don't think spirit is the next walmart.
