Some people have friends on the inside that get info before everyone else.

Something more relevant for us than rumoured a/c and fleet plans:

Ha, sweet! We can be the lowest paid C series pilots along with bus pilots out there!

Rumors are merely that..rumors. Nobody on this forum has any inside info! Delta was at HQ last week looking at our books.... There's a good one for ya.

The C Series talk is a tactic to get Airbus to come to the table with a better deal, IMO. Unless they got a ridiculous deal and the cost of operating them is much lower, I can't see why they would add a second fleet type for an aircraft that does the same job.

I would love to see this place get to 400 aircraft, but where are they going to put them? We can barely find gate space for what we already have.

Hopefully those friends are sharing that this group won't entertain another type until there is new contract. A contract that DOESN'T include less money cause the a/c is a wee bit smaller. A new type will only dilute QOL, bases and schedules.

Supposed to be much more efficient. Also there is plenty of gates in Flint, Bloomington, Rochester and ever other po dunk town that we will start servicing.

I've been screaming this from the top of my lungs. Our codesharing language could be our eventual undoing. At least southwest pilots have codeshare language to protect to this article is just noise. We on the other hand do not.
