Spirit of NKS, Part II

This is where I know the Union Leaders and NC got it wrong. We are very unified. I have not talked to one single pilot that doesn't agree that we are grossly underpaid and long overdue for a pay raise.
If that isn't unity I don't know what unity is.
Present a contract that we deserve and it will pass. That simple.

Hahahaha, thanks.
Unfortunately I missed the call today but logging on here I saw some great feedback. It sounds like the guys really did a great job and everyone can rally behind this. A common goal I suppose. The reason I went on for 2-3 pages with Audi is because it sounds like he still has own agenda. I'm sick of it. We have something to really work for now and don't need division.
We all need to put our money where our mouth is so to speak, myself included.

Not sure I agree either giant. Just because we all want higher pay doesn't mean we're unified. Lack of participation for the surgery (70% I think, can't remember), turn outs for events are poor and when people do turn out some are there to cause issues, guys not wearing the green stuff, etc. You don't need to be loyal to the MEC and NC but showing support for the overall cause is the goal. Too much looking out for oneself. A lot of guys will complain about the pay and bash guys on the available list but will turn around and take a JA.
Let's get a TA, then vote, then Our DFW LEC, then the rest.

NC- thank you for publishing the opening offer. My only question is, what took so long? Why did you have to be pressured into doing what every other NC does at the onset?
But, in the end, thank you.

Yes, it's great. Hopefully we get something near the "initial" ask. Guys have to realize things will change in the ask. UPS and I'm pretty sure United never showed their ask...just sayin.

$38 per hour to start and don't forget the peanuts we get until training is over. Our families depend on a raise much sooner than later. Hopefully we will get to the point, a contract away, where a raise doesn't have the same financial significance.

But look at the pay at UPS and United before their new contract. Pilots over there were not hurting financially as bad as NK pilots are.
