So funny, RP and JA will present your resolution to the MEC, they may even cast two votes for it, but I guarantee the others will shoot it down! But hey, way to distract us all from the goal of getting a TA!

Should be removed from their positions?! So this is a f'ing middle-eastern dictatorship now?! Glad to see the union goons are showing their power hungry "our way or the highway" attitude. Everyone here take notice of this guy's comments. And many here know exactly who you are. Shame on you mate to say such a thing.

You're the clueless one Napoleon. Obviously, the petition is having an effect. Later you'll thank those who singed it. But thanks for showing your true colors.

It's not worth fighting you guys on here, too many keyboard warriors. You have LEC 18 elected rep "Ralph" slinging mud and personal attacks, very professional. You have the other same 6 logins on here that create new names anytime there is a group trying to make the union accountable. I will just agree to disagree, you won't change my mind by insulting me, and I obviously won't change yours. If we could ever just have a constructive dialogue on here, this forum could be a lot more useful.
I will just simply restate my position, we want accountability and transparency in our union. Many of us wanted a change in NC so as not to repeat 2010. Since that is not happening, we decided to take a more constructive course. ALPA is always saying they need membership to take charge and be their voice in the union, we did. We have done something that brings many together on one issue, we also did this to support the NC efforts. The company will have a hard time stalling once this is presented. Whether the NC or MEC is happy about it or not, it will be acknowledged in our first round of mediated talks, this is a fact. I hope that they jump onboard and use this powerful tool of unity on one subject. I see the petition has 278 supporters now, basically 20% of the pilot group has signed on to support their NC and send a clear message to management that we will not be stalled in our effort to get a fair contract. One last thing, I signed first because I am proud to sign this petition, we are bringing into the fray many here who have never felt represented. This petition in no way is advocating any recall or change of NC, that is why it is so powerful. Now if those in charge do not take heed of the pilot's will, then steps will be taken. Have at it and tear me apart, I think I have made my point clear, so for now I am signing off to take a break from the constant fighting on this forum, good luck to us all.

And to those who say JA and RP will just set up the 18 and 109 reps to vote our resolution down: we have support in 109. JL assured us so when he was based out in DFW.

Also, does that 20% include the several flight attendants and the chap from Cornhole, KS that also signed?
When you misstate or spin the facts you are no different than the alpa regimes you rail against. Makes me wonder if it's the coruption that bothers you or the fact your group isn't part of it.

I don't understand how some here can think that this petition is a binding document that the NC has to follow. It doesn't force them to do anything. All it does, it shows the company that there are for now 20% of the pilots that will turn down a TA that doesn't have retro pay. It now means that if another 31% are not happy with the conditions offered, they will also turn it down.
It will just be harder for the company to come up with a low tier offer and pass a TA. Remember that a 51% passing TA is a major success for the company.
This petition just gives a boost to our NC in current negotiations.

Don't shy away from these 'keyboard cowboys.' They need to understand that our movement is a bottom-up, grass roots effort for more transparency and more voices to be heard. Multiple DFW pilots have been denied spots on key committees and some even fired off of them. Like I said before, we have an experienced group steering our efforts. We won't just go away!
And to those who say JA and RP will just set up the 18 and 109 reps to vote our resolution down: we have support in 109. JL assured us so when he was based out in DFW.

I'm flattered you think I'm TH. Unfortunately, I'm just another 'John Pilot' wanting what's best for our group. You guys raised a stink in 2010 and look what it got you: a 26% sticker and that's it. Now you feel you've reached critical mass in DFW and are going to force your 'change' on the rest of us. Most of us in DTW and ACY see your true motivations.

Does anybody have a link to that petition?
Also, does that 20% include the several flight attendants and the chap from Cornhole, KS that also signed?
