The primary goal for DFW's own LEC is not to change the NC. I can't argue that there are some who view that as part of the plan. The main goal is to gain representation for DFW's pilots. As has been mentioned extensively we do not feel properly represented by those who were elected on our behalf. Like a certain someone else they ran on a platform proclaiming transparency but have proven to be anything but. They pledged to alternate meetings between domiciles but haven't.

This new "L4D" screen name that has popped up the last couple of days is one person representing their own ideas. Unfortunately they made a name that gives the impression they are speaking for us all.

You are represented, you had a chance to vote for a rep. RP and JA got more votes, plenty of Dallas votes, too.
Now, if we had known what JA was going to do, it might have come out different. Or maybe not, since their opponents in that election wanted a friendlier tone to management - wanted Spirit to be like Google from what I recall - High Five!!
Regardless, looking forward - RP and JA still has to represent and be accountable to all LEC77 members. Physical location for meetings does not matter, most of us commute, anyways.

This is a serious question, not trying to flame bait. If the DFW base feels so unrepresented, why didn't you vote in a member of your base when the 77 elections were held? Every one of you (that had voting rights in the 77) could've been nominated for a position. Moreover, every one of you could've voted to put said nominee into LEC 77 office.
I don't know the answer, but I'd be willing to bet a very small percentage of those eligible DFW pilots actually voted in the last 77 election.

If this is the case, I'd say your argument of being unrepresented holds little water. We have a democratic process in place for you (the figurative you) to ensure proper representation...again, I doubt a large majority of DFW pilots participated (hell, I have my doubts even a simple majority voted or took part in the process).

So why should the LEC4DFW position of lack of representation be taken seriously when you (again the figurative you), more than likely, didn't even have a majority of your pilots participate in the last election?

Recall JA and nominate your own guy. Win win.

I suspect their displeasure with JA (or that both 77 Reps are LAS based) is not the real reason they want their own LEC.

Bingo. Easy to do just that. Except they say that is too fracturing to the pilot group. What they will say only to those they trust is that they want to get in so they can attempt a full recall. No one is making this up. These are the things FOs in Dallas have said about their direct conversations with them. We are in too deep to consider any of this let alone a recall. We need to focus all of our energy on a new CBA and against management

hey, does anyone know the difference between the seniority lists from the "what if" bids vs. the Flica bidding seniority. I'm about 40 numbers lower on Flica vs. "what if"?

also I've moved up 4 numbers on Flica in the past week

Can't wait to hear the spin at the pub event. Any bets? I'm going with "we met with the mediator and we are optimistic as the process moves forward. "

Keep in mind, Flica bidding does not include instructors.
