I'd like to take this opportunity to endorse a dear friend of mine, MH, for LEC 109 Captain rep. Now, I know that you people are incapable of seeing things my way and that is why Mike would be the perfect choice to represent you people!
When Mike was in training many many years ago, some guy told him that you either "lead, follow or get out of the way!". Well, some guy was right and now you have a true leader just asking that you recognize my qualities in him.
I feel that Mike will understand business much better than the other options, after all, he has several business ventures of his own that get bigger every time I talk with him.... I also like how he was the only guy in your group with the ability to start a helpful petition.
Anyhow, I'm off down to scheduling, to make sure that Mike, Kiwi and friends get no special treatment!

I know you are being sarcastic in a way, however it only helps us who are negotiating (f9 guy here), the longer management wants to drag their feet the more it will cost them in the long run.
Personally I was thrilled for SWA contact, hoping dal, jbu and you guys get something soon.

 

Honestly dude, I don't believe that for a second. Ultimately what will end up happening is by the time we we get a contract it will be a wash and equate to what our management (both NKS & F9) offered initially. TIME, VALUE, , MONEY. This is especially true when we talk about our retirement. Delaying as long as they plan will of course work out in managements favor, it always does.

They will delay as long as they have until one of three things happen.

1. Economic collapse
2. Merger
3. Until their hand is forced by the RLA and who are we kidding, if it ever gets to that point they could pay us FedEx rates and they would still have saved money by delaying it as long as they did.

It's really frustrating and I try not to stress over it but I can't help but shake my F----- head with each new podcast and company video of them telling us "how much they appreciAte their employees"

I swear, I'd have so much more respect for them if they came out with a video that said, "you are worthless pieces of **** and are nothing but an impediment to our super low CASM". We would love to fire every fng single one of you if we could and replace you with Slave labor if it were allowed but we can't HIGH FIVE!

In all fairness, maybe Bendo has said that, lol. I haven't listened to a podcast in a year. Who knows!
