I hate the Fly your line narrative..... It's to myopic. It takes no account into improving ones line to make better use of ones time or getting days off needed. Not to mention picking up something to offset a drop elsewhere falls outside that scope too.
As a commuter, I flica the snot out of my line throughout the month. If I can make better use of my time, my commute and days off you are damn right I'm gong to do it. If my line credit doesn't equal my award that's not something to have to defend to the internet. I don't go for more work when able. And if I can swap a straight time trip for something high credit low block in the same or less footprint, I take that as more work the company needs to cover anyway.
There is unity we need to grow, but a one size fits all to fly your line isn't the right approach.

Are we finally starting to learn? Are we finally putting pressure on the company? I sure hope so! Whatever it takes!

You guys keep on beotching and whining about your crappy contract, bottom of the barrel pay and making lists ratting each other out. Sounds like rats desperately trying to get off a sinking ship.

A low cost carrier called America West, which was very much like Spirit, was doing very well. US Airways was failing and America West took them over. the US Airways name was better so they kept that and America West name went away.
Later, American Airlines was failing badly and was taken over by US Airways. The American brand was worth more so the US Airways name was dropped.
So you keep espousing to Spirit pilots to leave and go to your regional airline in hopes that one day they will flow to what is really America West, which is basically a mature Spirit business plan.
Disclosure: I don't work for Spirit, or a regional. But from the outside your argument makes you look like an idiot.
