That's funny, you should ask some of the older Mesaba guys how well their guaranteed flow worked out. Instead, they were sold, dragged through a BK for a 2nd time.

One question Dacuj. You keep talking about the flow to American, so is the flow guaranteed, will Envoy put that in writing?

I hate the Fly your line narrative..... It's to myopic. It takes no account into improving ones line to make better use of ones time or getting days off needed. Not to mention picking up something to offset a drop elsewhere falls outside that scope too.
As a commuter, I flica the snot out of my line throughout the month. If I can make better use of my time, my commute and days off you are damn right I'm gong to do it. If my line credit doesn't equal my award that's not something to have to defend to the internet. I don't go for more work when able. And if I can swap a straight time trip for something high credit low block in the same or less footprint, I take that as more work the company needs to cover anyway.
There is unity we need to grow, but a one size fits all to fly your line isn't the right approach.

I think your scenario fits in the "fly your line" narrative. I am pretty sure everyone would agree.

Have a lot of friends at American. It is he one legacy that many do not want to work for. Sorry bud that golden carrot ain't actually made of gold

Please check the attitude before flowing. We are all in this mess together. Better conditions at Spirit mean better conditions here at American or Delta or UAL. You'll understand eventually.... I hope.

That doesn't work for the pattern bargaining environment when the economy is good. The better contract/pay/QOL that came at AA, then UA, and then DL (respectively in order) happened regardless of the conditions at Spirit. In a good environment those contracts help the LCC ask for more, and vice versa when the economy tanks the legacies will come for concessions to mirror more LCC stuff.
