How much of the hiring at TSA is based on growth vs turnover? Browsing through here sounds like you guys are getting airplanes, but is that additional or replacement? That mitsubishi rj is that for sure, and also is it considered growth. Interviewing here and trying to get a feel for the company and its future. Thanks!
I think the company has a future as far as the "regional eye" can see. (as in... check back in 5 years, the regional landscape as a whole is prolly gonna be very different)
The MRJs are for sure on paper. That being said, the darn thing hasnt even left the ground yet, literally. Lets see if the Japanese actually get this bird flying and certified first.
Most (if not all) the planes that we were replacing have left the fleet already. We will continue to get planes as long as we can staff them.

I also heard this American flying is much more lucritive than the United flying, so I believe we are focusing on that side. I believe American is willing to give us as many airplanes as we can staff, though I want nothing to do with that American flying. Who knows what will happen in a year or 2.

How do I reconcile that belief??? Well, I haven't spent more than a few minutes of my life on that 'belief'. What I do know is Doug Parker/AAG doesn't give a shat about anything except the bottom line. Like I said before, I could care less about that garbage American flying.

Houston ord is better than iah iad. Iah stl is terrible. Hou stl is OK but you have to commit to an airport if you park. Iah den looks pretty good on paper but I haven't done it much. If you commute on ual expect full flights except a few times a year. If your route has more buses than 73s you will greatly improve your chances due to 2 j/s. My experience on ual is that hub to hub doesn't have many mainline pilots at least to the TSA bases. There are plenty of regional guys so you'd better be there an hour early to get the first check in. Iah-ord you can take yx AA 170 usually they are better than ua. Also nk is available iah-ord
