Let me see if I got the jest of this...AA bought twa. AA agreed to integrate the twa seniority list, the company who was being bought out, with AA's. AA pilots ALSO got furloughed after 9/11 while twa guys still worked at AA. Twa got ticked off and are now suing to make things right in their eyes.

Just an update from Camden, NJ.
The jury returned at 13:00 today and rendered a verdict:
FOR the TWA Pilots and AGAINST ALPA.
The TWA Pilots have prevailed in the Duty of Fair Representation lawsuit against the Air Line Pilot's Association.
The suit was bifurcated into a liability portion, which the TWA Pilots have won, and we will now move on to the damages portion, which should proceed in a much more timely fashion.
ALPA will not be able to appeal the verdict until the damages portion is complete and they then will be required to post a bond for damages and estimated legal expenses incurred by the defence.
In my best "Mr. Burns" voice..."Excellent...".
The "Doctor" is celebrating!!!
