with today's news of the first few UA A35J slots being canceled/swapped, i guess the question becomes what was negotiated as the replacement airbus purchase: A330 or A321.

specifically MSNs 194 and 222. could of course be just a deferral, but something is going on with the order.

While I have absolutely no doubt that the A350 order is in serious flux and an official deferral/conversion/cancellation is in the cards, I'd like to know the source for the info on that website.

Is it informed speculation or does the author of that site have direct info from an insider at Airbus?

The A350 simulator arrival countdown has been removed from the Flight Training page in Skynet.

Default A350 orders

At TK for check ride and was told no sim, but there are issues with the Rolls Royce engine contract that UA can't get out of, so more to follow, but the sim is on indefinite hold

AA announced yesterday that they are cancelling their A350 order in favor of 787s.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/boein...224641373.html

If I understand it correctly, Kirby has pointed out that the AA deal with Airbus for the A350 was a problem for us. The initial deal done at the end of the Tilton era was a bad one vs. the AA deal. I wonder if the dynamic has now changed with AA out of the picture.
