Yes the update today has definitely confused things!!

On the basic indoc/redoc page there are still the 4 classes this Fall (2 in Nov and 2 in Dec), but on the New Hire page those classes are gone, as well as the ones for January of 2018???

Definitely mixed signals. Not sure if it means they have enough furlough/LOA returns already committed to cover their needs for the Nov / Dec classes, or if they have received an update that makes their need less, or a combination of both??

Age 67 announcement to follow. The fleet plan clearly explained all this.

Sorry this is correct, the dates were removed on one page but remain on the next. Mixed message for sure, did they intend to remove the class dates or not?

We're buying JetBlue, hiring to resume after the SLI.

I did notice that the December class dates are now a week apart? Can't recall if they were scheduled that way prior to this update...

I coincidentally have a picture of the 7/18 update and it too showed December 5 & 12 classes

Jetblue is buying us and stapling us to the bottom of the list.

I wonder how much that 153 pilot pool has dwindled. February is a long way off especially considering that Feb could become even longer if they make another change again. Hard to justify another 6 months waiting on the hope they run a class in February.

At TK yesterday, was told by an instructor they were told no new hire classes until February.

Typical United....hire right up until you furlough!
