Then why do EWR, IAD, ORD based 777/787 get to enjoy the enhancements? They don’t do any FRMS segments.

Just seems unfair. Either we (756) are global fleet or a basic. Now we are a third sub-category? The contract/reserve rules are convoluted enough.

I do not like how the B757/767 pilots are being treated. No widebody pay for the 76 300 and now no inclusion in. LOA 48????

Why the deliberate slap in the face?

I would hope in the new contract the 757 & 767-300 will have a bigger pay rate percentage increase vs the 767-400 , 787 & 777.
Hopefully significantly closing the widebody pay gap and increasing the 737 & A320 pay gap. If we go to more of a true differential pay system this should naturally occur.

Before anyone shoots at me, I’m not saying all other fleets don’t deserve pay rate increases, of course they do. Just hoping the 757 & 767-300 gets fixed what they were shorted in them JCBA. The A320 got the biggest pay rate increase and the widebodies did better percentage wise then the 757 & 767-300.

Do you seriously not know why the 767-300 got pay banded with the 737? Next time you see Jay Pearce ask him.

The L-CAL ISL negotiation play is the the reason.

I doubt seriously the company will entertain changing the pay banding in our next UPA... that ship has sailed. I also noticed some ridiculous post about how our pay needs to jump another 30% to keep up with our C2000 rates and inflation... another ship that has sailed. We need to have realistic expectations and neither one of these will happen IMO... need to keep our focus and work on better work rules, fixing loopholes, and improving vac pay, SL, LTD, and Trng Pay to name a few.

Ahem...let's not start lowering and minimizing expectations before Lucy even shows up with the football. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell, we already TOLD them that we could be had for money and little else...twice. Maybe we can grow some stones this time?

How about this instead, I'll take "All those AND unrealistic expectations for 1000 Alex". Google the FAA site for the number of ATPs they say are active. Compare that number to the number of Physicians and Attorneys there
are. Then check the prices for Boeings and Airbi. Then think about liability and big storms over the equator in the middle of the night. etc etc etc.

:)

Gus Grissom: "He's right. No bucks, no Buck Rogers."

We might have these now if we hadn't extended the current contract for a few more $. Also might have had them since 2013 if we hadn't spent a year fighting UALPA over the pay bands we just had to have.

I'm going to disagree with you on this. Both United and Delta had this provision well before us CAL guys ever showed up. CAL always paid widebody rates for 767-200 so I'd venture to say Delta and United dropped the ball way before our first combined contract ever hit the scene.

That's an interesting perspective given that one team insisted on pay banding by holding their breath and stomping their feet in a misguided attempt to influence the seniority list. And that the other had it shoved down their throats during bankruptcy.

Here we go again.:D

That’s because CAL only had what 22 777s? The 767 was their WB. You’re comparing apples to oranges. That’s exactly what JP tried to do to skew the ISL. It didn’t work then, still doesn’t now. UAL had 75/76 banded together. There’s no incentive for people to upgrade to the 757 in places like IAH because the pay is the same as a Guppy. That’s why we have so many SCABS dug in like ticks on the fleet.
