Not to nitpick and I could be wrong. But I believe the contract comparasion sent out by the United MEC was in-fact an APA contract comparison. Agree, it’s a must read for every United Pilot.

This comparison guide is the continued evolution of versions created by the Allied Pilots Association, Southwest Airlines Pilots Association and Delta ALPA. A great deal of cooperation has taken place to ensure that each collective bargaining agreement is being represented factually.

I stand corrected, thanks for the clarification. I have the APA comparison too (created the same time frame) and for some reason I thought that was what our MEC sent out. My memory isn’t what it used to be, getting old sucks!

LOL
As usual, on the mark.
Flown with numerous pilots that didn't read it, forgot where they downloaded it to, or just weren't that interested.
Funny (and sad) as it's easy to download onto your own Ipad, or the company Ipad.
Oh well..
Most of them will be the ones who go right to section 3 with any new deal. And both the company and the union knows that!

PS) Blows my mind that both the MEC and the LEC can't/won't keep reposting DYK's and this CC every few blastmails.
Monthly we have had new hires and returning pilots who are new to all this stuff, or guys coming back off LTD/medical, etc..
And yes, there is a link to the MEC Library that takes you to the DYK section. But not the same as putting a PDF file that can be downloaded and stored into your device. Just my .02

Did you make that recommendation to your LEC Reps regarding the DYKs? I works the PDR Hotline so have all downloaded on my devices as well as the most recent contract comparison.
Agree.

FWIW- many of the DYK’s are on the ALPA app. Open app choose MEC then choose the MEC updates (not sure why they chose that title). Most if not all the DYK’s are there

I would never have thought to look there.
Also interesting that some give you info, others lead you to the ALPA Website for a PDF.
Last updates are 2014 & 2015.
But it's something.
Thanks...
