Default Rumors......

Lots of rumors and none of them make sense whatsoever!

We need to hire a MASSIVE amount of pilots.

Based on we're getting crushed by AA and DALs growth and we're stagnant during one of the most lucrative periods in the history of the industry. They're vacuuming up all the top tier applicants, we're barely covering attrition.

Just look at this.

That link is about vacancies not growth. United had the highest growth of the big three this year. It also had the least amount of pilots retire. Point being don’t confuse pilot staffing with the growth of the airline.

Oh I forgot to add the 152 EMB-175’s added as well so it’s all good we are growing like gang busters!
Yeah we replaced our fleet with new aircraft. Now the aircraft we take are growth. DL is just getting started replacing their fleet and AA is about where we are with fleet renewal.......That’s the point we are not behind, if anything we are ahead when it comes to fleet renewal.
