How does this affect new hires at united?

Probably by............NOTHING.

We already have a minority stake/investment in Commutair. Don't really see an outright buy of XJT.

It's be said many a time, UAL is NOT interested in ANY kind of a flow program. They seem to be content with their career path programs.

The comical part is the management is concerned with "pilots costs" at XJT.

Doubt a buy of XJT would be for sourcing pilots to UAL..... it's more about creating a way to lure pilots into the RJ's with a potential mainline job/interview after a certain period of time.

Never said it was....

Don’t think buying into XJT affects that one bit.

Pretty sure you’d be hard pressed to find someone that went to Commutair SOLEY because we own part of them.

Small class today.... 320: 2 SFO, 3 EWR. 737: 2 SFO, 1 LAX, 1 EWR.

Originally supposed to be much larger, then was reduced. Perhaps training constraints in light of all the other sim cancelations of MV's and LOE's???
