How do you mean “enforced?” I was questioned at least five times by a twenty something with a clipboard in EWR and every time I told him I was running the APU because I decided, as the captain, to run the APU. Never heard boo from anyone.

X1000, I really have thought about popping in the 737 fleet captains office and ask him if he knows what the number two corporate ethos is behind safety.... hint. It’s NOT efficiency!

Any captain that is afraid of management isn't much of a Captain......

I just went back and looked the snapshot is out it’s just not where it usually is. Go to the flight ops page where Howard posts his letter and to the right there is a box with the latest vacancy bid info. In that box there is a snapshot link that works.
