So you pay people $200-400 to pick up your schedule.... and you claim to be a business man? The only place were such "Genius" could take place is UAL MGT.

All the majors are hiring XJT pilots, United hires about 40 each month from XJT. The LCCs are ramping up hiring this year to take away a large amount of regional pilots away from United feeds. I’m surprised that you believe regional pilots would continue to stay in a low end job to please United...hahaha! What will United do without a feed?
United hires 40 XJT pilots a month? I call BS. Not that anything else you've posted here has any truth to it.

Hmmm. In all my many years jumpseating with XJT / SkyW crews I never heard them talk about that. I’ll ask. They probably know a big success like you and have cashed your checks then.

Why do you offer so little? Aren’t you taking advantage of pilots that are desperate? Sounds like you could pony up at least a grand.

So entertaining to read your ramblings. A monkey and a football come to mind.

If you really want to drop a particular trip for whatever reason you can add a note to the trade board that offers some money to incentivize someone else to pick up. Never heard anyone cold calling it.

I’ve never done it and I doubt people do it regularly. It’s more like I need my kid’s graduation day off so here’s $100 to whoever picks it up.

The company doesn’t get involved. I guess they PayPal each other or something.

That’s at XJT. I assume SkyWest might have it too.

Edit: just looked at the trade board company wide and there are only two guys offering money, $100 for a three day and $50 for the last four legs of someone’s trip.

It appears from posting history that this individual would be at XJT. But where does one separate truth from fiction? For all we know, this person's a CS agent.

I wish I wasn’t at XJT. Does that help?

And Skyw, United hasn’t said squat about buying XJT. The Bloomberg article does not give an indication of where the supposed leaks came from. Could have come from SkyWest, XJT, or maybe United.... but we have no idea and nothing is assured of actually happening anyways.

Fitting. Sad to see such insightful dialogue so easily derailed.
