they’ll release the class dates >30 days out... no reason why they won’t continue to run them weekly or every other week for the foreseeable future. Most of the retraining of displaced COVID related pilots is scheduled to be completed in the narrow body fleets in May/June... so the training center will be wide open for new hires this summer.

Agreed. Just announced up to 80% schedule in July. I keep knocking on wood, but we're getting closer to the point where hiring is not just an aggressive strategy for the future, but a present necessity!

Yep, “most,” and definitely not all. I’m still on the 787. Gronowski told me they’re putting a delay on training, at least for June due to 787 staffing issues. I’m waiting on my RQ2 class to go back to DCA 320.

They'd call, introduce themselves, then start making small talk while you wondered what they were going to say. Eventually, they'd ask if you were going to take your family out to dinner tonight to celebrate.
