Yeah maybe that is it, they try to and select enough people from various backgrounds to give the class some good diversity. Makes sense. Yesterday a guy who interviewed 5 days after me was invited into the sept. 14th class. I could still get an email today offering to put me in that same class, I am not sure. I did send an email to HR and they verified that my application is submitted correctly and that I am on the list for class when available. I guess the only thing to do now is try to be patient...

I know it changes, but generally what day or days are class date invites going out? And how far in advance of actual class date?

I was one of only two straight mil time hires, everyone else had regional time, two fractional, and had one each from AA, NK, JB, GY, K4. I’d say 1/3 of my class was Skywest. Hope that helps
whoa a third but I guess their pilot group is pretty big

sometimes. The long reserve times are a detractor.

The last vacancy had approximately 25% of the base unfilled - so assuming where you get in before/after other new hire classes, the quicker you will get a line. It's a small base.

And regarding the 756, you hope that no vacancies exist in bigger quantities for people to bid into. Otherwise people senior to you will be bidding on top of you for the next two years.

My general assumption from recent posts is that EWR and LAX are the junior bases. I am hoping and praying that I would get EWR out of training if hired. Do you guys think that EWR will be pretty easy to get for the foreseeable future (6 months or so)? Either thru base trading or bidding?
Thanks.
