It's also gone quite senior lately. It went to new hires this spring, but with the increase in flying out there people seem to be seeking it out. I'd guess 12-18 months at best right now. The 787 is more junior, especially in SFO.

204 unfilled Captain assignments on the bid award today. (DEN, EWR, SFO)
They have 92 days to use those for new hire classes. So, looks like there will still be a good amount of Captain assignments available in each class for the coming months!

Does anyone have any intel on how they will divvy up these unfilled CA bids for new hire classes? I’ve got a class date upcoming and would like to have an F/O position to begin with. With this substantial number of unfilled bids, do you expect there to be significantly more CA spots per class than the 10-15 as of late? I expect to be near or just above 50% in class.

Was it just 737 CA spots that remained unfilled on the final award or any Airbus CA spots?

What this basically means is that there wont be any 320 CA positions available to new hires as they did not release a freeze on EWR 320 CA.
My aplogies to those from Froniter, Spirit, JetBlue, Allegiant, Volaris and VivaAerobus
