If they don't remove the ability for unlimited short call conversions and early release from short call without pilot concurence then 18 hour long call will be worthless after your first day of reserve.

Lots of PHX to SFO WB commuters and not a ton of flights on UA metal. More flights overall to LAX and fewer senior UAL commuters... but more commuters from other airlines. If you received 737 out of Indoc you should consider LAS of all things, as it is shaping up to be junior to LAX and SFO. Plus, the commute is shorter/easier than SFO without very many commuters (but not as many flights to pick from). Have a look at a website like Flightstats to get a gander at how many flights per day to each location.

Feb 7th class:

30 IAH 737
6 EWR 756
14 SFO 777

Pretty much everything is going to IAH over the last month or two.

Spoken like a true defeatist. Absolutely disgusting mindset---especially in what is the absolute best negotiating environment in decades.

The solution is for them to throw out premium $$$ pay to cover that situation and someone WILL jump in to keep the operation humming.

Call me whatever, but outside of the interwebs I hear a lot of “global reserve isn’t as bad as it’s made out to be,” and I kinda like being a part of an operation with so much wb flying. So there are other things that rank higher on my list of wants in this phenomenal negotiating environment.

Never having been on WB reserve, I have no idea how "good" or bad it may be. Having been on NB reserve however, I know EXACTLY how bad that can be.
