Quote: The thought occurred to me today that you could have those two junior pilots as the relief pilots together on a flight in 4 months, at age 23 with maybe 4000 hours between them. Is that a possibility?
Isn’t 24 years of age a requirement of an unrestricted ATP, or has that gone away?

Quote: The last vacancy bid that had unfilled 787 FOs in EWR was the one that was awarded on April 11th. We have had two vacancy bids since then and neither of them had any unfilled slots in 787s in EWR.

.
any unfilled EWR 756 slots in the last few vacancies?

FO is going a little more senior but that’s because pilots a breaking their WB seat lock. Once that get out of jail pathway closes it may go junior? LAS CA is going unfilled

Any chance you could shed some light on the MCO vacancy bid and how that turned out on this time around, please?

Captain is trending progressively junior

No posted FO vacancies this time but demand also looks pretty junior

The seat-lock dynamics affect mco as well. The company seems very clear they want a TPA co-base which would likely make it very accessible to junior FO’s

Captain went fairly senior again, FO fairly junior. FO's not being awarded to newhires, but it looks like the junior FO on the award probably 12-18 months seniority. The bottom captain is probably 5-6 years to be the bottom guy.
