Has anyone that was in the September M&G gotten a class yet? I interviewed around December and I'm so excited waiting for a class!

Flight Operations is pleased to announce that furlough returnee/new-hire classes will occur on March 4/5, March 12 and March 18/19 for approximately 30 pilots each.

Here is the current schedule of announced upcoming classes:
• Jan 14/15
• Feb 4/5
• Feb 12
• Feb 18/19
• March 4/5
• March 12
• March 18/19

For more information, visit Flying Together > My Work > Flight Training > Pilots - HFPD Human Factors and Pilot Development > Class dates.

Figure the first Feb class invites should be going out this week, and the second class should go out next week.

Can any of you recent M&G attendees share the high points of your resumes? Congratulations!

JAN 7th drop.

26 total....alot of furlough returnees in this class. Theres is only 25 listed because someone got put into the computer incorrectly It lists them as new hire in ORD 747 which is obviously incorrect. So it is either a furlough recall that was listed wrong or someone put them in the wrong seat.

SFO 737 - 2
SFO 756 - 1
SFO 320 - 2

LAX 737 - 1
LAX 756 - 3
LAX 320 - 1

EWR 737 - 9
EWR 756 - 3
EWR 320 - 3 (8-BALL)

Next class JAN 15th, Welcome to United and good luck.

Thanks for posting this MOP!! Is the 756 going junior(ish)? Would a new hire in the next couple of months have a good chance of it, even if he were going to be junior in the class (29-30 years old)?

Unless you have previous 756 time and/or international experience (and no, Mexico or the Caribbean does not count), be prepared for a firehose with the current 756 training footprint.

Perhaps this will change going forward, but IMHO, the current program is really tailored for transitioning UA pilots, not new hires. But if you know that going in, the airplane is great and the flying can be a blast depending on base.

Also note that there is not a freeze to go up a category to the 756 from the 737 or 320 if one desired to do so after the first year.
