Not our concern but it would be interesting to shoot the temps on what the pax are receiving and include a comment on that if they are a bit warm

How do you guys know what the shelf stable temp is for meals? Is there a guideline somewhere?

I understand DL doesn’t get meals domestically unless the leg is 5:30 or greater. So how much profit sharing are the food inspector pilots at UAL ringing up in charges?

Also we never had chillers on the L-UA 737 or 757’s. No mass batch of food poisoning that I ever heard about. Yet now it is an issue?

I guess that’s my point, I’m just trying to be a serious pilot when I come to work, with occasional success. Maybe serious cook later.

If safe, compliant meals were provided we wouldn’t be so good at uSource! If we got a $40 direct deposit for every meal affected for each pilot affected going forward—no uSource claim—the company might think harder about a solution.

This is incorrect the chillers were removed from the 757's after the merger and the only 737's without them were the shuttle.

So someone named PDRit is advocating for the company, and advocating for a more relaxed Delta style meal program while blaming guys who are enforcing the contract that it’s punishing his profit sharing?

How about we sell scope, you’ll get all kinds of promised money.

I don’t remember the exact number but the most expensive crew meal we get is like $6. Snack is around $3. If you think that’s impacting your profit sharing, we have serious problems.

Thank you. Totally missed the user name. Sooo? Low level flight office errand boy or head of labor relations?

The meal itself maybe $3 or $6. But the logistics is certainly high. And when guys replace a $3 or $6 dollar meal with an Elways steak dinner the cost go up significantly. Not sure why that is seen as being anti ALPA/pro
Company. I’ve seen guys expense meals they would never buy for themselves.

Just don’t expect DL profit sharing if our cost are higher than theirs.

Thanks. I didn’t know the chillers were removed. So how did we survive on the 737 without chillers?

Last time I flew the guppy we at out of white boxes that doubled as a tray.
