We are hiring, no one is on furlough, they’re aggressively trying to expand our flying.... you want them to stop all that? I’m not advocating for the (ladies of the night) that will line their pockets on the backs of others during the down times or violate the contract to their own behest... but if you want the hiring to continue, the profit sharing checks to keep rolling in, and the demand there to require all that hiring and growth at some point you need to stop being part of the problem and help pull on the rope.

Will the situation change? If history is any indicator yes, absolutely, but now is not the time.

100% Agree - well said.

This is the time for the whole team to work together and take the hill while the winds are at our backs.

When the winds of war shift, then we can hunker down and dig in - but for now, it’s time to advance the line (operational, financial, customer Service) and advance the front.

They’re going to either way. If you want to sit on your couch and bag 70 hours a month while it’s booming that’s your absolute right and no on e will complain. More PPU for the rest of us storing for winter.

You've pegged me incorrectly, especially if you are targeting me in post #27 below.

I've been bidding a line for quite a while now. And, quite disappointed with the low time awards. And my 401K has been more than maxed out ever since I came back from Mother U's work-release program.

We lurch from rags to riches and then when the feces impacts the compressor, WE are typically the group who is most severely impacted and often blamed. Show me the money indeed. And when it's not the money, it's Judge Lefkow and James Sprayregen

(see - Kirkland and Ellis .... at least 85 Million....

and more rags for us.

And therein lies the rub.

If a flight is delayed for hours due to no crew but finally operates, it is not cancelled. That is the main thing the company wants.....to avoid a cancellation, as defined by DOT.

As far as ramping up new-hire staffing for this summer, they seemed to be about three months behind where they should have been. They were short of LCAs as well. I flew with newly selected LCAs who were just getting signed off to administer OE and it was already May. Ideally that should have happened in late winter.

Sooooo———Is hiring actually going to accelerate this fall? That’s the real question. Indicators are there, just no additional class dates yet.

We are running a more aggressive summer than the last few years and maintaining completion percentage of 99.5% which is same as last summer. Seems like it's still on the rails.
