I never signed a nondisclosure agreement. I am not aware of any restrictions on voicing my opinion of the uniform. We don’t get to keep it.

Any other falsehoods we should clear up?

Okay, so you declined to sign it, or not asked to? So let’s hear your opinion about the uniform, the process, and what you think about being a “wear tester”, but don’t be anon

Sorry, I have never been asked to sign an NDA. My opinions on the uniform are still out. I have worn it 3 or 4 days now. Need a few more days to really get a feel for it. Thus far there are things I like and things I dont. As has been mentioned before, we are testing the functionality of the uniform, not the colors. Having said that, I don’t mind the colors. If it turns out to be the final color I will be ok with it. I am far more concerned with how it fits and feels than the colors that make up the uniform.

And this is an anonymous board....I will keep it that way.

Edit, you asked my opinions about being a wear tester. I really don’t have any. A couple of years ago our LEC asked for volunteers. I replied and was chosen. So here we are. I am doing what I have been asked by my LEC to do.

hotels outsource the laundry and dry cleaning of their guests. It's not "quick turn" as in one hour. It normally takes 24 hours. Some hotels do it overnight. However, they are dependent upon the reliability of their out source contractor.

We don't want to be going for that 0500 van when the outsourced laundry vendor truck won't start at 0430 when his shift begins.

Laundry gets lost and stolen.

I wouldn't depend upon a third party to fix what could be fixed with proactive planning.

Furthermore, I don't want to spend my layover tracking down laundry or worrying about it being delivered on time.

I only use hotel laundry as a last resort or in case I have a spill or some urgent need of cleaning that I didn't pack and plan for. I use it most often in the case of a reassignment or a maintenance cancel....

You, of course, are free to do as you wish. However, I have had great luck using the quick turn laundry services available in the hotels.

I agree. But sometimes band-aid solutions help to address the problem.
