My guess is that they do actually look at the overwhelmingly negative feedback and then come out with the full court press about how much we’re going to like it. They like to talk about being a world class leader in the airline industry, but when it comes to investing money in that vision they just put lipstick on the pig. All of this money could have been better spent fixing the frequently inoperative WiFi and Direct TV, not reducing staffing/service on international flights, upgrading air conditioning carts so that they actually cool an aircraft (IAH especially), providing 100 seat service so our customers aren’t crammed into 50 seat rj’s, etc. In short, actually put the tools in place so that we can provide a better service. The customers don’t care about our uniforms, but we do. Most of the flying public couldn’t pick out a specific airline uniform out of a lineup if they had to.

Saw the new uniform on flying together and didn't care for it.
Flew a three day trip over the weekend and saw the pilot and station personnel uniforms in person. Not my favorite but neither in the uniform that I'm wearing now. Tie not bad but the blue suit is a bit too royal for my taste. Whatever the case, measure me, ship it to me, and I'll put it on and go to work as if nothing changed. Will continue to focus on a new contract and not some silly argument about blue vs black, silver for gold, wide vs narrow stripe, etc, etc. Who gives a xxxx.

Bingo. There are real fights both short and long term. This is not one of them.

Hell, it looks less like the uniforms I see at pretty much every regional, so I’m for that.

Flew with a tester recently.
I’m astounded in the amount of re$ources being used by the company and the union over this. You’d think we were considering something really important that will affect our profitability.
Now, I would like to know how this is going to improve our profit sharing in the next couple years, and by how much.
Btw, the uniform tester was pretty disgusted with the whole thing. What he is wearing is not what is going to be issued. He is not allowed to voice his thoughts on it publicly, and when he did say something to the uniform committee chairman ( we need a committee for this?), the chairman got butt hurt.
The wear testers have to sign a “non -disclosure “ agreement, as well.
Someone is taking themselves and their task waaay too seriously, which takes me back to my question of how much $$$
