I agree with 1,3,5,7 and 9, but not even sure what he looks like as I have never interacted with him. And for the record California has one of the lowest drug overdose death rates in the country.

What’s the point of going WB on year 1 pay? Seniority hit and you have to work out of SFO for the same $91 per hour as NB new hires.

Vacancy bid would be the primary way to accomplish this. There are airlines that don’t have base trade.

There's a reason that 13,000 other pilots don't want to be bottom reserve on the 777 in SFO.

I'm sure that there are some new hires that know exactly what they signed up for, but there are also many others that are gonna be in for a big surprise.

There's always a lot of traffic when I have SFO layovers; so, somebody must live there!

You never know when the music will stop. Bids available today might not be an option in the future.

He probably did it for the post one year pay and immediate lifestyle. Kid will be making more hourly in his second year than a 4-5 year NB FO. When considering that he may be playing in a very narrow window of opportunity, I'd call his move shrewd.

WB reserve can be a phenomenal gig depending on a lot of factors. But even at it's worst, I've got an Andy Jackson that says WB reserve is exponentially better than NB reserve.

Until they start rolling your days off. Which is the norm these days.
