Oh Jeez...keep hoping for our table scraps. See you in bankruptcy court. It’s your only hope.
Now go back to the minors board where you belong. You couldn’t cut it up here. I wasn’t a fan but I am starting to believe in the Hogan.

He’s the reason the Hogan exists

I'm sure there are more than a few pilots at mainline now, that were sitting pretty at some high end regionals the last time that happened.

Maybe you can ask some of the AWAC or ACA guys how that worked out....

So much for that entitlement huh?
Competition is great for consumers. ManaAir is the cheapest bidder and why United is rushing us brand new 175s! United cares first about money than safety. Kirby earns the 10 mil dollar salary for his amazing intelligence outsmarting the pilots. This Aviate program is designed to hold back pilots from jumping to mainline at a rapid pace. This allows United to grow the regionals and reduce costs. Albeit there is risk regional pilots will run to the LCCs and hurt United. United will face stiff competition with the LCCs just as the regional pilots have to deal with competitive bids from other regionals. ALPA dropped the ball not pushing for a real flow. You guys screwed up bigly and played into Kirby's long term plan. Kirby is laughing at you. You can't compete against the regional cost structure. You made the regional pilots your enemy.

United is ranked last in customer service for a reason. You guys need an attitude change across the employee group. Read up on your core values and learn how to take care of your passengers.

Slow down...try that again.

Except this time, come up with something coherent.

Maybe try an LCC yourself? Most likely significantly more stable than any regional. If you think there arent thousands of pilots at LCC's actively seeking employment with a Legacy, you're sorely mistaken.

Competition is good and money talks...and ALPA makes way more from us than it does you. Way more.

Sorry you got your feelings hurt not getting hired, but sounds like you’re wasting your amazing intelligence and insight, I bet you’d do it for cheaper than $10mil...boy is United crazy for paying Kirby so much.

Ha, that’s what we should do...take advice from the guy who can’t get out of the minors and has a crappy low paying side gig. Enjoy the 175, it almost looks like a real airliner.

You do realize that relaxing scope will make it harder for regional pilots to get to a a major while also resulting in no improvement in pay or QOL. So by taking a stand on scope, it’s to the benefit of regional pilots as well.

No they don’t. They might own the airplanes but United doesn’t own any airline other than United Airlines. All of the regional carriers that feed United are independent.

Well, the Avianca thing will hopefully play out soon enough. UAL does “own” them now.

That said, I agree with the rest. I believe bringing regional feed in house will improve the company’s bottom line after considering all costs associated with airframe acquisition and operational costs for a new type as well as incremental costs using mainline crews. Wow, long run on.....

As much flying as possible under mainline will improve the bottom line IMHO. And, improve UALs desire to attract the most qualified pilots.
