17B "in the bank"? Uninformed/Ignorant comments like this made the 'against' position hard to agree with.

Oh, are we down to 15B now? And access to how much more? Semantics and fly-shi*. We gave away the store for nothing other than FC DH and a paltry raise sometime down the road.

I must admit, I am secretly enjoying the aggravation this has caused the greedy people around here. Just don’t get so wrapped up in it that you wreck an airplane.....
So as a bottom 1/3 “no” voter... please explain the greed angle.

Actual example, guy loses pension and ESOP. Takes huge pay cuts in the early 2000’s. Wife decides this ain’t the life she was accustomed to and leaves, taking with her half of all assets remaining. Spends the next ten years under BK contract trying to make ends meet. C2012 comes along, finally some gains. 7 years of solid performance shoving every dollar away trying to rebuild, now has two kids in college... and you want to call them GREEDY????

You don’t get moral credit for voting other people’s money, and you certainly don’t get to label people, some of whom have lost millions over the last 20 years and have been desperately trying to rebuild their own retirement... as greedy for not wanting to again take more concessions. You sound like a colossal DB.

So typical of this mentality. Two posts in a row where he’s said NOTHING about the fact that 2000+ heads would be rolling before Christmas even got here and that has put off (at least) until summer.

Just reading your drivel as I sit here enjoying my morning coffee on my TIME OFF. Oh wait, that’s right, I should be fishing around on CCS for some garbage trip to make up for what a junior guy has stolen from me....

I've got about $200K credit available in cash to use as I need.... Is it 'in the bank'? Or would using it mean taking on additional debt? It's NOT just semantics - regardless of your parlay into a non sequitur.

TIME OFF doesn't pay my bills. FREE money to UAL (for nothing in return) sure helps Kirby pay his.

If this deal is so great, how come no DAL, AA and SWA aren't following along?

Take what you need and furlough anyway! This deal was initially about preventing furloughs, not delaying them.
So you didnt read the TA? Or did you just not understand it? Did you ask questions? Did you read the union comms?

MPG is based on what group you are in NOT what base you are in.
LPA can change per base/acft/seat

but by all means be outraged. I’d hate to try and kick your soap box out from under you with facts.

How can you make a cogent argument without staying on topic?

Please look elsewhere for someone to rgue with on the merits of the LOA.

Wrong, costs company a good amount more for this LOA then furlouging 4k pilots. Probably why the others don't do it.
