Exactly. It isn't.

I assume that Humminbear is, like a lot of us, tired of watching a bunch of misinformed idiots try to control the discourse on this important issue, and hopes to work against that by spreading facts. I wouldn’t have the time or energy, or frankly the knowledge to do it, but I see it as vital and important work, and I’m grateful to him or her.

Also, if you’re gonna comment on the excessive quantity of another’s posts, maybe don’t be the guy averaging over 3 per day for the past 2 years. It’s ok to take a break from this forum once in a while.

when was the last time pilots got together and shut down the medical field in our country for a year resulting in tens of thousands of medical field layoffs and tens of millions of layoffs nationwide?

they made it our problem when they shut the world down for a year.

medical professionals and research scientists just provided the information to create data, Think tanks or communications firms prepare the data, obviously with intentional or perhaps unintentional bias, then Public policy was derived from people outside all those fields.

there has been a lot of frustration this last year, but grouping all of the aforementioned entities into one cabal with nefarious intentions or sheer negligence is just a little lazy

I was not trying to say all were nefarious, but the idea we should not worry about it/ not have an opinion because it’s not our specialty is an insincerely argument because of the damage done to our industry (and many, many others) at the advice of prominent medical professionals.

Then argue public policy...not medicine and science.

why not? Isn’t science constantly changing? Shouldn’t we be questioning it?

As data is coming in showing the mounting risks of taking the vaccine, is United thinking about stepping back from mandating new employees take this experimental drug?

The CDC website itself talks about factors that add to the risk of blood clots- being people over the age of 40, being overweight, and flying for more than 4 hours. I’ve met a couple pilots that check one or more of those boxes.

Fact checkers are working overtime to find a way to not lay the recent passing of four healthy British Airways pilots at the feet of the jab. It may soon be that the only airlines running full schedules will be the ones that told their employees ‘your body, your choice.’
