Kirby said this morning that 232 unvaccinated employees are in the process of being terminated.

How many of the 232 being fired are pilots?

Take it with a grain of salt as it is grapevine news, but my understanding is that all had requested an accommodation at this point and therefore cannot be fired, approved or not.

I'm thinking Scooter was prejudiced against an employee seeking an exemption...

TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER: The Court thus concludes that Plaintiffs' Motion for Temporary Restraining Order (ECF No. 5 ) is GRANTED in part. It is, therefore, ORDERED that, for the duration of this Temporary Restraining Order, United Airlines, Inc. is TEMPORARILY RESTRAINED and ENJOINED from placing any employee on unpaid leave if that employee was granted either a religious or medical exemption from United Airlines, Inc.'s COVID-19 vaccine mandate. It is further ORDERED that United Airlines, Inc. is TEMPORARILY RESTRAINED and ENJOINED from denying any requests for religious or medical accommodations from United Airlines, Inc.'s COVID-19 vaccine mandate due to timeliness. This Temporary Restraining Order will expire on October 26, 2021. Plaintiffs' bond for this Temporary Restraining Order is fixed at the amount of $5,000.00. The Court will hold an evidentiary hearing on the Motion for Preliminary Injunction on October 13, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. (Ordered by Judge Mark Pittman on 10/12/2021) (pef) (Entered: 10/12/2021)

Really?

This suit brings to question the legality of UALs RAP decision and anyone that didn’t seek reasonable accommodations would not be considered a member of the class. The lawsuit isn’t about the actual mandate.

Yes, if you read my other post, I made it clearer…. it’s my understanding that everyone (at this point) has requested an accommodation that had not been vaccinated, so they fall under the TRO.

Could be fake news though.
