When you get pay raises on 1/1/19, that covers for 2019. It’s 2.5 years since we should have gotten a raise, and there was this whole COVID a pandemic during that time, so I don’t blame them that much. We did get an agreement before anyone else.

3.5 years past the amendable date and short 3 raises in 2020, 2021, and 2022. Please inform how that’s incorrect. I fully expected a contract to have been signed on 1/31/2019 with compensation improvements on DOS. The company was printing money and no contract. The path forward is very promising and the bill is due. Now where is that golden goose to choke.

Slow your roll big boy! Everyone knows you are going to votes YES! You are a Yes man! You will vote Yes even if you don’t like it because “insert pathetic excuse” but tell everyone you voted No. I’m a good strong union ALPA supporter. I love me some Todd so they/them must know what’s best for me.

just face it this pilot group is weak. When was last time Ual voted down anything? When was the last time Cal voted down anything? How many new guys holding 2-3 year CA? Don’t want to rock that boat. It’s all a dog and only show. Nothing more. It’s a done deal hoss. Your vote doesn’t mean squat. Neither does mine.

Winston Churchill would be mad because we are totally wasting a good crisis.

We are not. We are in the safety industry. And we’re so good at it that it is now taken for granted, which is a very bad sign.

Best seller! A book about the decline of the airline piloting profession written by a Southwest Airlines pilot. Genius

No, we are in a service industry. You can call our jobs 'safety supervisor' or something along those lines, but that's very limiting. We deal with a whole lot more issues than just safety in our daily jobs as pilots.
This company moves people and cargo between point A and point B - that's service industry stuff.

Ya no joking. Nothing has driven this industry to the gutter more than Kelleher and his Peanuts....

Agreed. Maybe not indict your fellow Pilot before the vote happens? That definitely won’t encourage them to read the agreement and engage in meaningful debate. I read the TA in its entirety twice. I’m not angry about it; I just don’t feel that it’s something we need. There are a lot of small nuggets in it, but none of those nuggets seem to be anything worthy of changing the current CBA for. Still less than 5 hours of pay/credit for work done. A 14% raise, than encompasses 5% already negotiated. $44M that was owed on lCal LTD 10 years ago.

It’s almost like going to the dealership to trade in your car for a better model, then being offered new tires, a radio and a new tumi bag for the trunk. It’s the same car, and now that you’ve invested in it, you’re stuck with it for a few more years. Thanks, but no thanks. I’ll keep what I have until I can truly get an upgraded vehicle.

I’d rather live under this contract until we can get something that keeps up with inflation and keeps us at the top of the heap…..glaringly missing a parity/@me too” clause.

Solid NO for me. But I don’t blame the negotiators. This is the best they could do. Unfortunately, it’s not better, and in some cases worse (10:00am reserve block start) than what we have now.

Solid Pilots don’t make grave decisions that they don’t have to make. I see no reason to change the UPA for a few crumbs that I never asked for…
