Every time I go in to update my app, it has the appearance and date stamp like it’s a new app. Is there any way to see if the app is truly submitted? With my time, types, and background, there should have been some traction commensurate with the environment and credentials of everybody being called. Cheers!

Unless something has changed very, very recently you have to upload your transcripts as part of the application.

You’ll submit your transcripts as part of a big document package once you’ve scheduled an interview.

With the current class drops, would/should a 35 yr old new hire expect the only aircraft available is a 777 to SFO or NYC? And then, assuming that, expect two years on reserve since I don’t imagine I’d be able to hold a WB line anytime soon?
I don’t quite understand the Global Reserve rules, but it seems like that would be awful as a commuter? Since your days off can change quite a bit?
I’ve read that the seat lock may be able to be broken by bidding MCO or LAS, but that’s not going to be a guarantee that they’d be available.
I’ve got an app in, competitive hours/resume, and hoping for a call/email soon, but want to be realistic with my spouse about first year or two expectations.

I did graduate college but my grades were poor. My transcript shows that I just skated by until my senior year when I had an oh crap moment and kicked it into gear and made straight A’s. When asked about my academic performance I was honest. I told them it was due to a lack of maturity at the time and that once I realized that I needed to grow up, the damage to my GPA was done. I pointed out my senior year grades, multiple type ratings, and a flawless airline training record as proof that the lesson was learned and that it stuck. Evidently my explanation was satisfactory since I was offered the job. Just be honest, sincere, and own your mistakes and you should be fine.

The LAS/MCO escape hatch will be closing soon (6 months from first available). If you don’t already have a class, I wouldn’t plan on that being a lifeline. Even if you do already have a class, I don’t know that there will be another vacancy before that window closes.
